Compact Travels

I do a lot of driving for visiting clients in my work, and don’t have a lot of time between one appointment and the next, but always carry my little Nikon S1 compact camera with me, and now and again stop to capture where I’m going or where I’ve been, and then I forget to download them! Catching up today!

I get around…

Quality not quantity

I started my ‘picture a day for 365 days’ 114 days ago, not realising at the time how my working life would change so drastically. I’m working 6 days a week now, and a fair amount of home time is taken up with processing the work, or doing related study etc etc.  Bit by bit my 365 has degenerated into bulk uploads and camera phone shots late at night in desperation to keep it going,  but that’s not the way I wanted to do the 365 and I’m not enjoying it, so have decided to call a halt. Of course I’ll still take pictures when opportunity arises, but quality, not quantity feels more important and relevant right now.

Some from last week.

So tomorrow is THE BIG DAY. I will no longer be ‘an independant’ but a partner in a limited partnership with some other former independent colleagues and our management company. Contract signing day tomorrow, and tonight a get together with colleagues to discuss all the implications and issues of the contract. So am back in Southport at the Royal Clifton Hotel, after a journey from east to west over snowy hill and dale. So today’s photos are with the Hipstamatic and taken along the way.
