Day 317~366

I have a weekend home alone, as Phil is off to a scale model show in Telford, not back until Sunday night, and I have to cat~sit. Really the cat is doing the sitting, on my trackpad so that I can’t be on the computer, but she didn’t realise I have an emergency mouse, so on we go 🙂 The weather, always with the weather, has been dull, has been raining and cold, so no going out with the camera, but I gathered some fallen leaves from the front garden and did my autumn in a crystal ball shot. Day 143~366

Last night we had a sunset spectacular, so firstly this is a different tree, my old Eucalyptus which has followed me from Mum’s garden, to my house in Hemel Hempstead, potted and put on the balcony at my flat in South Shields, then to the back garden of my home here, and then to the front garden. It has to  be propped up as it leans mightily to the right if left to its own devices, and this the top of  it, silhouetted against a glorious sky. Day 128~366

The buds I took shots of on Tuesday are already bursting into action with leaves and wiggly dangly things happening. After googling I found that the tree is an Oak Tree (yay!) and will develop acorns, though not sure how long that process takes, hopefully within the month! You will note that the sky is not blue, the weather totty on the TV lied her ass off! I also came across a patch of variegated grass in the middle of the marsh, maybe a discarded plant someone chucked there that’s taken root. Also poor Phil has had some painful dentistry…
