Day 311~366

” I saw on the blog you’re doing a crystal ball month.”

‘Oh Hi Frego, nice of you to pop in!’

“Yep, well, thought I’d better bring my crystal ball round to show you how it’s done.”

*sigh*

Day 300~366

Day 300, there’s a milestone 🙂 only 66 days to go, so light at the end of the tunnel.  Today is also exciting as the Woman~cave has arrived!

Frego didn’t know it was coming.

“Wow, look what’s turned up in the back garden! Where did THAT come from!?”
‘Surprise! This is your new home.’
“Woah! I’m going to live in it!?”
‘Sure, when it’s all kitted out with insulation and electricity and furniture & stuff.’
“It looks so big. I’ll get lonely”
‘Oh no, Skego will be with you and the other little people and The Bears, and I’ll be there a lot making mosaics and doing photography with you’
“Well I’m not sure I want to share it!”
*sigh*

Day 299~366

“Oh look at the dewdrops on the webs sparkling in the sunshine”, said Frego, “let’s go and shoot them.”

So we did.

Day 298~366

‘Ooh Frego those roses are lovely!’
“Yes they arrived this morning while you were at work”
‘Are they for me?’
“Of course not silly, I have a secret admirer!’
*sigh*

Days 294,5 & 6

We’ve been to Leighton Buzzard to visit with my son and grandson, weather was a bit meh so didn’t get out a great deal, a bit of shopping and that’s about it.  On the way down the M1 Frego and I stopped at Woodhall services for a cuppa, and Frego spotted a tree she liked over the other side of the motorway.

At Ben’s, she was very intrigued by Ben building a lego racing car for Lewis.

Today we came home and again stopped at the same service station, but on the North side, and Frego got her tree close up.

Day 293~366

‘Hi Frego, whatcha doing?’
“Well we’re going away tomorrow so I thought I’d sort out packing my clothes and camera gear”
‘Is it all going to fit in those little bags?’
“Yes of course when I’ve folded everything up.”
‘You do realise we’re only going for 2 days don’t you?’
“Yes, but a girl has to have options silly!”
*Sigh*

Day 291~366

Frego wanted to go to shoot the beach huts at Blyth this afternoon.
“The sun will be in the wrong position” I said, “we need to go on a morning when the sun lights them up!”,
“no worries”, she said “I’ll sort out the exposure in lightroom if they come out too dark”.
“It’s blowing a gale”, I said, “you’ll be blown away”,
“don’t be silly” she said.

Day 287~366

Another busy day, did housework and a trip to vet with Skye, and again the weather was cold and cloudy with heavy showers.  I decided to roast some stuffed chicken breasts to have for sandwiches and Frego was bored so took some before and after shots.

For a little while the sun peeped through the clouds and light came through the neighbours fence, so she ran out to get a Fence shot for Friday.

day287-2w

Phil came home and in spite of the rain had to transfer stuff from the old shed into the new one before demolishing the old one begins, so Frego tried to get a shot of him, but he moves fast!

Day 286~366

I had a busy day today, went to work, made teas for the shed men, met Phil after his work to go supermarket shopping, had dinner, and here I am now with my photo for today. I didn’t have chance to take Frego out, and anyway the weather was so yuck, more rain & clouds. So this evening Frego thought she’d process some photo’s, and Skego kept her company.

Day 285~366

The weather has turned crappy here, and it’s cold and rainy and forecast to be so all week. :/  We were a bit fed up about it, but Frego amused herself by taking selfies with Skego, and adding filters and the like to them for her instagram account 🙂

day285

Apparently this is my 1000th post here on WP! Yay, go me!

Day 284~366

I was telling Frego about my ‘tree’ month back in May, and how much I’d had fun doing it, so she asked me to take her to see it so she could get a couple of shots there herself.

Shooting the Tree

There were big black clouds just creeping up so Frego shot the tree with them behind her to get a bit of blue sky before it got eaten up.  Then she wanted to climb the tree and do a shot of the landscape.

And on the way home she spotted the graffiti wall, “what does it mean?” she asked me..

Day 283~366

We had plans for a grand day out today, but the cat’s been a bit poorly and didn’t want to go too far.  The weather wasn’t as nice a yesterday either,  but around 5ish it seemed we might get a nice sunset.  Frego thought we should get somewhere close to home on higher ground than where we live so we could get some cool shots, so I took her up to the Angel.  There was a low bank of thick grey clouds on the horizon, so knew the sunset wasn’t going to be great, but for a little while  the higher clouds above got some lovely pink tones and we managed a shot.
