Yes reflections this week with extra credit for using a mirror, which I didn’t as I’ve done those loads before and I wanted something different. Went out and met up with Sophie for a shoot today and got some reflections in shop windows and at the park, again I’m never sure which shot to use, so if you’re visiting do a little vote for your fave please π
Firstly, three shop windows
I like them all but perhaps the last one of those is my fave because of the colours, but it’s not quite as sharp as I’d like.
I took this next one in the park.
I like that too but next weeks challenge is abstract so this would be the same theme.
Finally, Sunderland have put up inflatable monsters on buildings, for Halloween, (there’ll be a post on that next week π ) and this is one that did show up in the windows, I’ve two versions of this, not sure which I like best!
So that’s the lot, whaddya think guys?
I like walking dude, he’s got a bit of the Harry Worth’s about him!

I like the walking dude too..I like the perspective. But I like the big monster one too…probably the one that includes the actual monster but not sure. Maybe both!

Oh blimey! Iβm torn between Walking Dude, Park Life, and the second Monster Reflection. As itβs Halloween Halloween, Iβm going with Monster Reflection.

For some weird reason this one, once again didnβt show up on my reader, so Iβm glad that I just saw your comment in timeπ
What Iβm not glad about is that all of these pictures are great and yet now I have to choose…..π€π€π€ππππ Iβm torn between Walking Dude and Monster (just the reflection). Both are excellent, but….I guess Iβm going with…Monster (just the reflection). I like how it almost seems as if that thing is behind the windows and looks like itβs locked up. So yeah…that will be my choice. But wow…you once again outdid yourself with these! ππ

Cheers Michel, these ‘project’ posts don’t show up in the reader so no worry, if I need a vote I’ll let you know! π

Okay, so I like the same shop one as you, the one with the most people, and the mannequin. (3)
I’m torn with the monster duo, but settled on the one with the actual monster and the reflection. (1)
As for the park photo, I agree you should save that for ‘Abstract’.
Best wishes, Pete.

All great, Fraggle. I’m with you on the shop reflection – somehow a shot of our times. But I liked the abstract quality of the park/puddle. I couldn’t get beyond ‘what a waste of money’ for the monster, I’m afraid!

I know, there’s 6 of the things but at least they use them every year, so a one off payment! I think Sunderland is not the only town doing it, but can’t remember where else I read about them. It may be a ‘thing’ π

Ooo, great post, Fraggle. I would think the window reflections would be even more difficult than a mirror. I like the one with the most people best — somehow that one is very unsettling to me. More potential (with more people) for something weird to happen between the reflection and the real, I guess. LOL Reflections seem suitably creepy for Halloween. π All these shots are amazing. Happy Halloween hugs!
