Day348~366

I went back to South Shields tonight, as last night on my way back from the river I spotted these park lights.

Day 347~366

Phil’s on night shift this week, and the temperature is quite mild, so took a trip into South Shields and shot the Port of Tyne from our side of the river, lots of pretty lights and reflections. Better if you click on the picture to embiggen it I think.

Day 346~366

I had a wander around the corner from where I live and took a couple of shots of the Christmas lights on peoples  houses. Bliddy cold out tonight!

Day 345~366

I bought these tea light holders a long time ago, can’t remember where.  I don’t have a clue what the characters mean, hope they are not rude!

edit- found the right hand one means ‘love’ and left one is ‘happiness’

This took forbloodyever!  Haven’t been writing much as am getting my photo’s done quite late, inspire of it getting dark early. Also lots of shenanigans going on as the Ipernity website is shutting down in a couple of months and the challenge group on Sundays that I help run is needing a new home.  It’s  very difficult to find somewhere that works for us, and we’ve whittled it down to either Facebook (urk) or Fotoblur, neither of which is ideal.  I  have a Flickr account that I use now and then, so all is not lost regarding saving photo’s, just that the lead admin of the group can’t use it, so it’s not an option for the group, which is a bummer as it works for everyone else in the group. We’ve been together for a long time, and become virtual friends, and whichever site we choose, we’ll lose people, as some can’t bear Facebook and others just don’t want to start in a new place. But that’s the nature of the internet, and plus ca change and all that.
