Wear a tail and do your job! 😆 This got me smiling from the start… loved this.
The one about dogs teaching us about love and loss broke my heart. It is so true. What a gift!

Obviously a perfect post for me. 🙂
The ‘Poodle’ is actually a Bichon Frise. My Mum had one called Bobo, and she loved to correct people who called him a Poodle. He had such a feisty character, I didn’t mind being seen walking around with him. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.

I love the whippet at Beamish. My dad always had whippets – one at a time, not several at ones. The quote “Dogs come into our lives to teach us about love, they depart to teach us about loss…” is so true.

Yeah, these quotes and pictures are adorable. I love the ones of our little furry friends peering out from underneath a door or right at the corner. The smaller the dog, the more amusing the places they manage to find themselves in.

Makes me so lonesome. After our last dog died, my wife said she didn’t want another. She said we are too old. Is anybody ever too old to have a dog?

Not if you make sure there’s someone to take care of it for if. Walking a dog keeps you fit, I would like one but also not allowed! Too hard to look after properly when we both work.

I’ve found myself really wanting a dog lately 🙂 So this post was very, very fun! Loved all those hunting dogs, and the dog in the very last picture too hee hee! Also I liked this quote: “A dog teaches a boy fidelity, perseverance, and to turn around three times before lying down.” – Robert Benchley 🙂

I’ve been wanting a cat 😊 but I still want to travel, if this virus thing ever ends.

Right? That’s the only thing stopping me from getting a dog! We have two cats, but they’re much easier to line up sitters for, since they just need food, water, and some pets 🙂

I hope when I’m a bit older, (not too long now 😊) and can’t be doing with airplanes and the like, I’ll have some daft mutt, and go for long walks on the sea front with it, it’s a nice thought. Fingers xt.

Nice photos, for sure lots of dogs! I’m more a cat person, although I don’t have one, my hubby has allergy, at least is what he says! I think he would be jealous of all the attention I would pay to the cat! 😉

I am more cat than dog too, we’ve had a few over the years, but the last two broke our hearts when they dies, so not having anymore, at least not yet!

They all are lovely fellows, fragglerocking. Sadly here dogs turn into barking alarms when they see me (they are rather at homes for security) The last photograph is my favorite ^^

For some weird reason your posts aren’t showing up in my reader😢 Since I had not seen a post from you in a few days, I decided to just head over to your blog. Glad I did, else I would have missed out on this one. These are absolutely wonderful! Can’t even pick a favorite…well done!😃

In my opinion, Dogs are the best companions in the Animal Kingdom. As a child I had lots of pets: a Monkey(Timtali, my brother coined the name), a Cat (Sheba), Dogs (Pax &Shirley), and a Tortoise(had no name).

Cool shots. Sometimes I feel that we’re the only people in Toronto who don’t own a dog! I would like one but it’s more than enough looking after a diabetic cat who also has inflammatory bowel disease (bless him)!

Aw, poor cat. We don’t do dogs either, our cats died a couple of years ago and so far we haven’t felt up for more. One day though.
