We’ll finish up walking the last leg of our trek around the park today, there were not many leaves left on the trees
so it was nice to come across some pops of yellow
but mostly it was grey and brown
I’m not sure what this next thing is, maybe stocks for naughty giants?
even when the leaves have gone, and there are no bright little flowers to photograph, there are always some interesting shapes and textures to find,
and reflections in puddles
and that’s the end of our visit to the Rising Sun Country Park, though I think we may do a return at some point, when spring finally arrives.
Stay tooned for next time when we’re off to see the Camel Parade!
On my dog walk today (15 degrees ans sunny!) I saw that the snowdrops and crocuses have appeared in large number. Of course I didn’t have a camera, as I was expecting rain!
That country park looks good, on a dry autumn day.
Best wishes, Pete.

I like the naughty giants’ stocks — they are rather strange. Beautiful photos.

I’m not sure what that thing is either in the middle picture, maybe it’s a prop that they will be using in the next Blair Witch Project movie? 😂😂
Amazing pictures as always! 😊😊

Cheers Michel, (I never saw Blair Witch as I’m a wimp when it comes to horror movies! )

I’m with Michel on those things looking like something out of Blair Witch!😱 Here in the U.S. we’ll find out on February 2nd if there’s going to be six more weeks of winter or if Spring is almost here. We do this by the most scientific way of watching if a Groundhog named Puxatawney Phil sees his shadow or not.🤣

Trees are amazing with leaf, or bare. A miracle of Mother Nature.

I love the photo with the cones. It just goes to show that brown and grey doesn’t mean dull.

Your lovely pops of yellow made me scroll back up to check the date of this excursion. Pops of anything would be nice over here.

Hi Fraggle. A camel parade sounds fun — but take your umbrella. I hear they spit a lot! 😀
“stocks for naughty giants?” I love your imagination. Ha!
All the unexpected bits of yellow were lovely. Great captures. Not to mention the stark beauty of trees in winter. Thanks for a lovely stroll. Hugs on the wing!
