Although Autumn was just about over, and the temperature wasn’t that great, Sophie and I decided to wrap up warm and go for a walk around the Rising Sun Country park. There’s 162 hectares ofย nature reserve with ponds, woodlands and extensive grasslands; a farm and Countryside Centre, so we figured there’d be enough to point our cameras at. ย No history lessons today, just a gentle walk to see what Mother Nature leaves for us when summer is over.

All great shots though.

I have never heard of Rising Sun Country Park, but I can see that I should have done. Enjoyed the captions almost as much as the fab photos – though sad flowers, presumably someone’s favourite place.

Yes bit of a strange one as no gate or view, just a fence along the pathway. Cheers Mike.

These are marvelous, calming photos, Fraggle. Thank you for sharing them — because after the meeting I just got out of, believe me, I needed calming!
Hugs.

I loved the ducks in a row, but I’m angry about the flowers in plastic packaging. The photos are excellent as always.

Maybe they removed the flowers after a while. Cheers April.

It wasn’t the flowers, but the plastic.

The soft contrast (difused blacks?) give to the colors a nice mood, the portrait in the second photography is very cute. ^_^
