Nearly back to our starting point now, and some old industrial buildings on the river bank,
and then the newer Hilton Hotel
The sage, some boats and some dolly birds 🙂
worth 2 views of the Sage, it is amazing!
The Baltic Flour Mill, now converted into a gallery for contemporary art, and some people on the Millennium bridge
That’s it for the river cruise, but we took a few of the quayside as well, so will do those next time.
Stay tooned! 🙂
The Sage is impressive, but for me, the Art Deco/Modernist wonder that is the Baltic Flour Mill steals the show!
(Those boats look like navy craft)
Best wishes, Pete.

Thanks Pete, it is an impressive bit of kit! Also has a bar at the top giving great views over the Tyne, and a very swish restaurant. The views from the ladies loo are very impressive too!

The Sage looks like an amazing structure. I imagine you could spend a long time photographing it.

The Sage us something else, but like Pete I impressed by the flour mill, good to know that it still has a purpose.

And cheap too, only £12 for the trip, good value I thought.
