Part 1 HERE
Thought I”d best finish this off before starting on the Poland report π .
The main attraction for Sophie and I was the cherry blossom walk through the grounds
but also there was an abundance of pretty flowers, the name of which has escaped me yet again!
and bluebells
we saw a squirrel too,
and more (insert name here π )
and white bells
more blossoms
rhododendrons I think
and these are definitely tulips
and I’ll finish up with the drunk tree π
Next time we’re off to Poland
stay tooned π
You got some real punch into those colours, FR. Wow!
Lovely shots indeed.
Best wishes, Pete.

Not primulas I think but they do begin with P! Sophie has told me about 3 times the name of them but I’m pants with the memory thing. edit- I just looked on google and they do look like Primulas. I was sure they were something else doh!

I have some in my garden but am not sure of the name either…I knew they weren’t primroses anyway… π π

They are polyanthus – I wrote it down last time when I had to ask, and it is still sitting by my computer so I remember to buy some!

You are welcome! I was thoroughly amused when I saw this post and was like, “hey, I know the answer to that because I already asked the question!”

And you are taking advantage of their photogenicity! I think I made that word up, since I see a red line under it, or maybe I misspelled it! π

So much colour, so early on in the year, wow! Glad Sarah identified the plants, that could have dug in for the rest of the day. Love the drunk tree.
Poland next, that should be fun, can’t wait, excited π It will be interesting which to see which pictures you choose.
