It would seem they are being eaten everywhere. Us two need to catch up on the trend, obviously. π
Best wishes, Pete.

I won’t go into too many details, but when we kill our pigs then nothing is left from the head except for the eyeballs! The brains are fried and eaten within the hour, although I have to admit I decline this politely….sorry I said I wouldn’t go into details π
I do like the B&W, fits the market well.

I have to admit they get slipped to the dogs after a spell in the big outdoor boiler. I don’t have the same stomach as Gosias dad and the ‘axeman’ If it hasn’t got a name then it gets boiled up, chopped and cooked again in the stomach lining to make a salceson https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salceson

I love the cow’s head! How incongruous to the normalcy of people wandering around a market. Great shots.

I saw the pig head and was like, “oh, a cute piggie.” Followed immediately by realizing it was just a pig head.
It was still cute. Just a little morbidly so.

You were probably more observant than me and realized it was no longer attached to its body!
