Part 1 HERE
After the courtyard we entered into the great hall, which was full of cool stuff!
Going in
door stop
Ready for lunch
Helmets off to eat
take your seats
mantrap/antler light shade conversion
medieval decor
Indian headress~ Dumbo edition
Horny Ram
A horse, of course.
On our way out of the hall to explore upstairs we came across some more stuff
the bat motif in the upper left window pane appears several times in different places in the castle,
The Hattery
Kinky Boots
Sleeping Beauty’s corner
View of the garden through the stair window.
More to come next time 🙂
It’s so perfect and beautiful! It must have been like walking through a childhood fairytale book 🙂

Loving it, I have been looking for a door knocker…..let me know if you see one…knocking around!
The tapestry stands out the most for me though, it gives it a real feel of what it may have been like, it looks like they have made a good effort in putting it all together.
Thinking of Ed’s vampire theory, perhaps this was an old haunt, the bat motif is the hidden sign!

Clearly, helmets must come off to eat. One can’t act uncouth in a castle (plus, the whole ‘getting food into your mouth’ thing is probably important, too).
