This took forbloodyever! Haven’t been writing much as am getting my photo’s done quite late, inspire of it getting dark early. Also lots of shenanigans going on as the Ipernity website is shutting down in a couple of months and the challenge group on Sundays that I help run is needing a new home. It’s very difficult to find somewhere that works for us, and we’ve whittled it down to either Facebook (urk) or Fotoblur, neither of which is ideal. I have a Flickr account that I use now and then, so all is not lost regarding saving photo’s, just that the lead admin of the group can’t use it, so it’s not an option for the group, which is a bummer as it works for everyone else in the group. We’ve been together for a long time, and become virtual friends, and whichever site we choose, we’ll lose people, as some can’t bear Facebook and others just don’t want to start in a new place. But that’s the nature of the internet, and plus ca change and all that.

Ah it’s OK, I have no worries, just trying to sort stuff out for the group, but losing the will to live.

ohh ps, have you tried starting the group on FLICKR my other home…. I love flickr. shes been a good friend to me, I never loose anything there. come on do it

I would but the group belongs to Wendi and she has trouble with using Flickr 😕

I would if I could figure out how without being disloyal, but I think it would be awful for her if everyone else left her out when it’s hers in the first place. I think we’ll end up doing it on Facebook anyway 😊

I know, 🙂 we are checking out other sites like fotoblur and 500 and a few others yet, also a chance that Ipernity might be bought out so keep going.
