Didn’t get home today until late, and man has the weather changed! Temperatures way down, the wind blowing a hooley and now rain as well. It wasn’t a bad morning, but can’t do photography at work! So this evening I needed the ‘creative’ bit of my brain and came up with the following.
The balls magnification properties are quite funky I think.
Loving the ball, and liking this one a great deal. Lovely clear magnification, and a really unusual photo. Great stuff, FR!
(I had to look up Lannsiport. Something to do with Game of Thrones?)
Best wishes, Pete.
(By the way, just read a blistering review of the Fuji XT-2 on the AP website. Looks like a cracker!)

Thanks Pete, yes it’s one of the Game of Thrones novels, I do like a book with hand drawn maps. I am staying well away from reviews on new camera’s (especially the XT-2 as I am prone to serious gear envy without the serious cash needed to assuage it! 🙂

I can’t afford it. Maybe next year, when the excitement subsides, and the prices drop…

yes, I am usually a couple of years behind, but really I’m happy with the XT-1. How is your camera hunting going?

I had sort-of settled on an Olympus, maybe a Pen F, when they get even cheaper next year. Then I started reading reviews of the XT-2, and forgot about the Pen…The sensible choice, financially at least, is the all-round Pansonic G80, which is a lot of camera for the price of a pro lens. (£790 with kit zoom) http://www.amateurphotographer.co.uk/reviews/compactsystemcameras/panasonic-lumix-dmc-g80-review
Either way, I will have to have a play with all the choices at the big camera shop (Wex) in Norwich. Something to do in the new year.

Damn it, now I’ve got the GoT theme tune stuck in my head! Great shot.
