We had plans for a grand day out today, but the cat’s been a bit poorly and didn’t want to go too far. The weather wasn’t as nice a yesterday either, but around 5ish it seemed we might get a nice sunset. Frego thought we should get somewhere close to home on higher ground than where we live so we could get some cool shots, so I took her up to the Angel. There was a low bank of thick grey clouds on the horizon, so knew the sunset wasn’t going to be great, but for a little while the higher clouds above got some lovely pink tones and we managed a shot.
Frego’s shot 🙂
I just get the biggest kick outta seeing that big man. We have nothing like that here. Kool colors in those clouds too Fraggy.

Thanks Mrs.O, he’s a bit of a lummox really but people love him (me too). There’s always people there being photographed with him, or photographing him, doesn’t matter what time of day or night.

Very interesting perspective you chose, and having the statue sort of out of focus. Great shot.

It may not be a traditionally beautiful sunset, but it is still pretty!

We’ve driven past the Angel on quite a few occasions, but one day we will actually stop off to take a better look at and no doubt a few snaps. Anyway, love the composition with the Lego person.

Cheers Stevie, it’s worth a stop, there’s a memorial sort of garden there too.
