Thought it might be a good idea to start studying colour theory as I’m doing a colour month, and try to make my pictures according to what I learn.
The three traditional sets of complimentary colors, as derived from the Red-Yellow-Blue color model, are red and green, yellow and purple, and orange and blue.
Complementary colors, when used together in color schemes, are especially dynamic and pleasing to the eye.
So today I’m finding yellow and purple are indeed dynamic and pleasing to my eyes at least, and my beautiful orchid seems to have got it sussed.
Stunning images!
