Day 176~366

Sophie and I went up to Seahouses to go on a boat trip to the Farne Islands to see the puffins. By the time we got there, the heavens opened and a torrential rain pour had us soaked before we;d even got on the boat.  The trip was then cancelled and we were given a refund. A couple of miles up the coast from there is Bamburg Castle, so we went there instead.

This is one of the photo’s I took, and at some stage I’ll catch up and do a Fraggle report on my visit there, (I have so many Fraggle reports saved up now, the 366 is getting in the way of posting them!).

  1. I have taken many photos of Bamburgh Castle, (some years ago now) but have never actually been inside it. That’s a lovely part of the world, with such a dramatic coastline.
    Sorry to hear the puffin trip was cancelled, but I am not surprised, given the weather we are having in the east.
    (I take it you meant ‘Seahouses’? )
