It was bug day at the tree today, with tiny tiny buglettes, not sure what they are
and I don’t really want to know, have been itching ever since I saw them!
Then I spotted a newly hatched caterpillar on the tree trunk and followed it as it motored along, he really moved fast!
and this is my daily shot
on the way home I saw a bee
and a daisy just about to bloom
came across a snail climbing up a fence
and some seeding dandelions all along the path
and the neighbours clematis is already losing petals
and that’s it for today!
Amazing what you can see in a short visit to a tree. I came home with one of those green caterpillars on my coat yesterday. They must favour oaks.
Best wishes, Pete.

Nice juicy leaves for them I guess. Cheers Pete. π

Great images, I especially like the ones with the moss/lichen, the colour and patterns are really something, inspired me to tackle abstract paintings. Thanks for sharing!

Glad to be of service, though I think you are not in need of inspiration, your abstracts are gorgeous!

Thanks so much! It is morning here and I am revving myself up to spend some time in the studio in horrible weather. Hope you have some sun at the tree today!
