Day 143~366

Last night we had a sunset spectacular, so firstly this is a different tree, my old Eucalyptus which has followed me from Mum’s garden, to my house in Hemel Hempstead, potted and put on the balcony at my flat in South Shields, then to the back garden of my home here, and then to the front garden. It has to ย be propped up as it leans mightily to the right if left to its own devices, and this the top of ย it, silhouetted against a glorious sky.

And now onto my Oak tree! ย It rained a fair bit today, so off I went in the downpour to catch the tree leaves in the rain, it had a good drink today.

  1. Great droplet shots, FR! Real classics of the droplet genre.
We used to go shopping at Tesco in Jarman Park in Hemel, when Julie lived in Abbots Langley. My stepson still lives in the town, in Adeyfield.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. I know Adeyfield well, and most of Hemel as I lived there many years. Bought a beautiful glass decanter in Abbots Langley junk store (think it said Antiques on the sign lol).

  2. These are stunning. That light spring green is such a beautiful colour. We are in the midst of autumn here in New Zealand, everything is yellow and russet. So beautiful to see how life pushes onward on the other side of the earth. Thanks for sharing!
