Not too bad a day at work, but rain rain rain, and dull grey skies, and no photographic opportunities. Had more work to do at home and then just as I picked up my camera I noticed an orange glow coming through the window and BOOF!
a bonkers sunset! Skye & I sat and watched it, or rather I tried to photograph it hanging out of the bedroom window whilst preventing Skye from escaping out of said window! Afterwards I took her picture and she’ll be my daily B&W as nothing else inspired me after that. I did turn the sunset B&W in Lightroom it looked too weird. 🙂

It’s hard to pull of sunsets in B&W as they do tend to look weird and don’t do the scene justice, though it does occasionally work with the right sky.

Yes I’ve seen some grand B&W sunsets, these clouds were not up for it.
