The Sunday Fraggle report ~ bits & bobs

Another week gone by, 25 days left till Christmas and a bit of time off, but still work to do and photo’s to take.  This week I’ve managed a few so here we go.  Firstly I got in the car Monday morning and spotted a spider web on my wing mirror, had a go at a quick snap with the iPhone and din’t expect to really get it, but it turned out surprisingly well.

On Wednesday although it was cold, there was a sunny day, and as I was travelling a fair way up and down the North East, I set my camera up on my phone so that I could drive and just hit the ‘click’ button when I saw something I liked, so here is a little travelogue of my work day in pictures 🙂

Friday I took advantage of the Black Friday sales and purchased some new processing programmes, can’t help it, I’m an addict 🙂  Phil meanwhile was trying to do his modelling…

On Saturday Phil was working, and I had my friend Sophie over for the day to do some indoor photography. Mostly we took pics of my cats 🙂

  2. The zigzag sky seems the kind of sky you can only be very lucky to see… infinite. I know you´ll do wonders with your new software 😉

    1. haha I am so not a professional photographer, and yours are great Melanie, do not be embarrassed!! Yes we need a kitty sitter as they are very needy of company and it makes it difficult to go away! You’ve got the job 🙂

  3. I viewed and reviewed yer car trip enjoying your images of your voyage. Then, of course, sat back and had a good time looking at the pictures of your cats.
I like cats. My wife and I no longer own a cat…however, there are four feral female felines (4f’s) that we feed.

  4. First…you have Black Friday in the UK?
Second…I love your ‘In transit’ photos! It’s such an amazing representation of a busy person who has a hobby that she loves and how she fits it into her day. When I’m stuck in traffic, I would never think to pull out a camera, but it really works 🙂
‘Blue monsters on the A1’ – I see the influence of a mutual friend. Awesome!
I’m happy that your Black Friday purchases worked out so well for you 🙂

    1. Cheers Melissa, yes we have Black Friday, and Cyber Monday (just gone) and Manic Monday (next week). Not sure if they all came from USA but definitely Black Friday. Last year people were queueing up outside shops all night and then fighting each other in the shops to get their bargains, it was on the news and showed the worst of humanity. I think the people who watched themselves be like that must have found it quite humiliating, and this year all the shops were empty lol, though they did find one chap waiting outside PC World, and he was very embarrassed. Thanks for the kind words re my photo’s and yes, the blue monsters were a nod to Mr.F 🙂

      1. Yes, I don’t know why Americans can’t learn from their atrocious behavior. Black Friday contradicts the feeling of peace and good will that we show be showing each other through this season….or at any time of the year.
But then, I also saw on the news that some Americans don’t go to shop, they just camp out for fun…..I don’t know 😛
