Another Fraggle’s ‘hood report

An Indian summer is a period of unseasonably warm, dry weather that sometimes occurs in autumn in the Northern Hemisphere. Well that’s me, up North, in a hemisphere. An unseasonably warm, dry and calm weather, usually following a period of colder weather or frost in the late Autumn. Well… our English Summer was the period of colder weather, so we are not yet in late Autumn, but still it’s been nice to have a few straight days of sunshine.  Following on from my iphone trip to the Doc’s and back, I decided to take the Fuji on a more extensive journey around my home, something I do now and then at different times of the year, to see what’s going on in the wilderness over the way.

First some flowers in the neighbours front beds as I leave the house

That was the last of our Indian summer. Of course yesterday when Sophie & I went to Howick Hall Gardens, it was grey and cold and blurky, but we still took pictures, so there’ll be a lot more of nature to see when I get to posting those, just without sunshine or blue skies.

Back to work tomorrow, and my car is playing up so am having to borrow Hubs low rider for work while he takes mine to the garage for fixing, we are off to another model show next weekend, this time in Holland, and have a week off after, so am really looking forward to that!

  1. Oh I really enjoyed our walk in the woods Fraggy. You are having the same weather we R. I had to go back to the village today , high 60’s and sunny, beautiful sky. So I’ll b posting tomorrow. And next weekend we r going to the mnts.
But I’d much rather be going to Holland 😉
Ok Chica I’ll be waiting to see your shots from You and Sophie’s outing . ❤️🍁🎃

  2. Also, I wanted to say a great big thank you for always being so supportive, but particularly on our recent post where we interviewed local actors. I know it’s not an inherently interesting piece, but every kind word from strangers meant a great deal to these two as they embark on a new career, and it means a lot to me as well that you took the time to do it.

  3. Fab shots, Fraggy. Roadside beauty is my ultra fav one. Just awesome. If you are close to Groningen give me a shout. It would be a 2 hrs drive only for me to invite you guys for lunch or dinner. Best. Reinhold

    1. Thanks Reinhold, we are going to Eindhoven, will arrive Saturday evening, then spend Sunday at the model show and set off for home again Monday morning. A flying visit really. Thanks for the offer though 🙂
