A day off. Sort of.

SSwalkjuly-11Today was my day off, except I had to work the morning haha. Anyway this is my first real week of being a part time worker. And now I have 2 days a week to do whatever I want, unless I’m working! I spent the afternoon walking along the coast at South Shields, and took my Nikon.

  1. What a beautiful set of photos! I’m so curious about those sculptures of the weeble wobble people. What is that??? Congrats on working part-time. Last I heard you had picked up full speed into a serious full-time gig. I bet you love that change! BTW- your photos always make it look so much warmer than I imagine it to be there.

    1. Thanks for the kind words, πŸ™‚ Yes I love now being part time, it had to happen as I was hating my life. I must give you thanks for I think it was reading your blog about the changes you made to get out of dentistry and be a happier person that really set me on my own quest for de-miserablising my own life. I’m much happier doing my audiology 3 days a week, and guess what, I’m selling just as many hearing aids as I did when I was full time! The photo’s here are actually taken on a lovely warm day though we had a flash flood in the morning which left one of the weebles a little adrift! I am going to do a blog post on the weebles so you can see all about them there. πŸ™‚ Hope you are doing fab with your mysterious venture, will be looking forf an update!

      1. That’s fantastic! And you’re so sweet to say that about my blog. Glad to know it inspired someone out there. πŸ˜‰ Way to go! No need to stay unhappy in life.

That’s cool– I had no idea people actually called them Weebles. I just read your post on them. I can’t imagine one actually moving. It looks like a really neat place to visit. I will expose soon… I’ve had a bit of writer’s block, so I’m trying to decide what’s next. It might just mean that it is time to reveal the mystery company! Glad to see you are well. As far as selling as much when working less– work smarter, not harder, right?
