from Durham to Teeside and now Northumberland, have been getting around this week! Todays shot is of Hadrian’s wall, well part of it anyway, it runs alongside the B6something or other which I was driving upon. Β This bit of wall isn’t as big as some of it that’s left, but it’s the only bit I could see from the road. The Roman Emperor Hadrian built this to keep out the Scottish hordes, who were too unruly even for the Romans, now the Scottish hordes are trying to keep the English out, but am not really sure why, we arn’t unruly at all. πŸ™‚

  1. Already five likes?!!! Who are these people?! You posted this like, three seconds ago.
How do you even read this in that amount of time?

Well – getting back to the subject – you know what we american say of you english? We say you guys are really unruly. I mean… we always are, like, saying that. Didn’t you know?

    1. πŸ˜€ silly arse, I know, I always get quick likes, not sure why, I have lots of followers too but they never say anything to me except for you and Lolabee and Toontone and I got them from you πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ How very dare you call us unruly, have you not heard of the english stiff upper lip, keep calm and carry on attitude??? πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

      1. I’m really only being ridiculous. What was it you said the first time we met? “Not quite sure what ^ dinkerson was on, but I want some, lol.” πŸ™‚

That being said, I’ve never understood the stiff upper lip. I don’t get how that really helps with anything. πŸ˜‰
In the US, we get over it. In the UK, you keep a stiff upper lip.

If I could either get over something or stand there with a stiff upper lip… well I know which one I’m choosing.

    2. Haha! The other day I got a like before my own email even notified me that the post was up… and it was definitely a lot to read.

Fragglerocking- Looks like a sunny day for your part of the world! πŸ˜‰ My hubs is on your island visiting as we speak.

          1. oh god, Warrington, lol I know it so well. I can’t even imagine why you would visit there! Hoping for the story!

Thankfully I’m nowhere near there πŸ™‚ and live in the most gorgeously landscaped and steeped in history part of England, (I’ve lived in a fair few places here so do feel qualified to pronounce that πŸ™‚ ) whenever other life gets to me, where I live life is always uplifting.

            So…. Lolabee… Warrington????
