The Red House, sculpture in Sunderland.

My friend Sophie and I went for a walk along the River Wear, and up to Seaburn. Lots of photo ops along the way. This is one of the many sculptures in Sunderland..Carved in red sandstone by Colin Wilbourn and Karl Fisher on location in 1985. It represents the ground floor of a house complete with door, fireplace, furniture and a carpet. A coat hangs by the door and books lie open on the table.
